New Safety Management System Successfully Launched by Copper Range and MUST
Troy, Michigan— Copper Range and Management and Union Serving Together (MUST) rolled-out the new online Safety Management System today to track and monitor, on a daily basis, the credentials of thousands of unionized workers showing up for work in Southeastern Michigan.
Copper Range created a web-based database that stores data, such as drug test results, training modules completed and confidential information about the employee—address, social security number, phone number, etc. Contractors can allow access to the database allowing owners and other contractors to verify employees are compliant with the job-site rules.
“Working with the Copper Range Team has been extraordinarily successful for MUST. Their dedication to our program has been tremendous and the services that they offer has made safety and drug testing for the construction industry easy to obtain on jobsites and are accurate while reducing enormous amounts of time and costs”, says Wendy Richardson, Program Administrator, describing the strategic partnership.
Wendy Haring, Executive Director, reports “Our partnership with Copper Range has established a substantial advantage for MUST and will allow us to expand participation and generate growth. The Copper Range team possesses superior expertise, operational proficiency and leadership excellence. Their combination of skills and insight has been beneficial as we continue to transform MUST into a top-tier organization in the construction industry."
